By the second critical date of 1 July 1922 this brigade had been reorganised to form part of the combined Waterford Brigade.
1 Battalion: Unit strength on 11 July 1921 was 352 all ranks. On 11 July 1921 the companies of the 1 Battalion were located as follows: Waterford City, Barrack Street, Gracedieu, Ballytruckle, Butlerstown and Ferrybank.
2 Battalion: Unit strength on 11 July 1921 was 214 all ranks. On 11 July 1921 the companies of the 2 Battalion were located as follows: Dunhill, Kilmeadue, Fenor, Tramore, Kill and Dungarvan.
3 Battalion: Unit strength on 11 July 1921 was 160 all ranks. On 11 July 1921 the companies of the 3 Battalion were located as follows: Callaghane, Passage East, Killea, Ballymacaw, and Checkpoint & Faithlegg.
