18th Release, June 2025

The June 2025 release is the 18th release of records from the Military Service Pensions Archive. The files relate to 865 individuals/veterans or their dependents. The release contains over 2,110 new files and brings the total individual entries on the MSPC online database to 20,940

• 268 claims were lodged under the Military Service Pensions Act 1924 (National Army applicants).
• 404 claims were lodged under the Military Service Pensions Act 1934.
• 113 applicants were awarded gratuities or pensions under the Army Pensions Acts. These could relate to disability or wound claims but can also relate to applications lodged by the dependants of deceased members.

Quick geographical breakdown

Among the 865 individuals whose files are being released, 103 individuals had an address in Northern Ireland, 59 individuals in the USA, 56 in England, 9 in Canada and 1 in the Channel Islands (Jersey).

Among the 769 individuals showing an address in Ireland, 299 were in County Dublin, 104 in Cork, 55 in Tipperary, 50 in Kerry and 46 in Limerick.
