The Uinseann Mac Eoin Collection was deposited with Military Archives in 2018 and is comprised of research materials gathered in the course of Mac Eoin’s work on three publications: ‘Survivors’ (1980), ‘Harry’ (1985) and ‘The IRA in the Twilight Years 1923-1948’ (1997). The material listed in the collection is compiled from two sources. Namely, Uinseann Mac Eoin’s Private Collection (PRCN-0080) of various paperwork related to both the interviews for his publications and the publications themselves, and the actual interviews (UMCE-H, S & T). The catalogue for the collection is available online and the collection can be accessed by appointment in the Commandant Peter Young Reading Room.
