4 IRA members killed by British military having been caught trenching a road at Crushnalanive (Crois na Leanbh), County Cork on 16 February 1921. Contradictory reports from British and IRA sources as to how the victims met their dead. British sources claiming the 4 were killed resisting or attempting to escape capture. IRA sources claiming the victims killed after capture.
