Kidnap and killing of James and Frederick Blemens

Father and son James and Frederick Blemens were kidnapped from their home in Blackrock, Cork by the IRA on 29 November 1920. They were subsequently killed. Exact date and location of killing unclear from the file. IRA claimed that both were acting as spies for the British. In February 1921 James Charles Beale, son in law and brother in law of James and Frederick Blemens respectively, was also killed for alleged spying by the IRA.
