Clonmult Ambush

British military and police ambush of IRA unit at Clonmult, County Cork on 20 February 1921. 12 IRA killed and a number wounded and/or captured. Of those captured 2 were subsequently executed. 1 British army and 1 RIC wounded. It is alleged that possibly the majority of the IRA killed were killed after surrendering to the British forces.
