Chaffpool Ambush

IRA ambush of RIC motor party at Chaffpool, County Sligo on 30 September 1920. 1 RIC (District Inspector James Joseph Brady) killed and a number wounded. British forces burned a number of business premises and privates houses in Tobercurry, County Sligo and surrounding area in reprisal that night.
