4 Maghera Brigade – 2 Northern Division

1 Battalion: Unit strength on 11 July 1921 was 419 all ranks and the strength on 1 July 1922 was 415 all ranks. The companies of the 1 Battalion were located as follows: Gortin, Glenelly, Craigban, Newtownstewart, Plumbridge, Loughash, Strabane, Douglasbridge, Park and Donemanagh.
2 Battallion: Unit strength on 11 July 1921 was 225 all ranks and the strength on 1 July 1922 was 234 all ranks. The companies of the 2 Battalion were located as follows: Maghera, Draperstown, Swateragh, Kilrea, Glenullen, Moneyneera and Boleran.
3 Battalion: On 11 July 1921 this unit was part of the Derry City Independent Battalion. By 1 July 1922 it had become a part of the 4 Brigade, 2nd Northern Division and its strength on that date was 399 all ranks. The companies of the 3 Battalion were located as follows: Mullaghboy, Creggan, Foreglen, Limavady, Altmover, Carn, Ballykelly, Gortnaghey, Galvin, Ardmore and outposts at Magilligan, and Dunboe.
