1 Tyrone Brigade – 2 Northern Division

1 Battalion: Unit strength on 11 July 1921 was 293 all ranks. Prior to 1 July 1922 this Battalion transferred en masse to the 1 Battalion, 3 Brigade, 2 Northern Division. The companies of the 1 Battalion were located as follows: Coalisland, Edendork, Killyman, Derrytresk, Derrylaughan, Aughamullen, Stewartstown and Ardboe.
2 Battalion: Unit strength on 11 July 1921 was 242 all ranks. On 1 July 1922 the strength was 325 all ranks at which stage this unit was re-designated as 1 Battalion, 1 Brigade, 2 Northern Division. The companies of the 2 Battalion were located as follows: Dungannon, Galbally, Donaghmore, Aughnagar, Munderadoe, Benburb, Dunmoyle, Garvaghy and Beragh.
3 Battalion: Unit strength on 11 July 1921 was 299 all ranks. On 1 July 1922 the strength was 345 all ranks at which stage this unit was re-designated as 2 Battalion, 1 Brigade, 2 Northern Division.The companies of the 3 Battalion were located as follows: Pomeroy, Altdrummond, Dunamore, Kildress, Binnafreaghan, Greencastle, Creggan, Carrickmore and Dunmoyle.
