Fawaz Fawaz

Fawaz Fawaz was interviewed in More House, UN Post 2-45, UNIFIL, South Lebanon for the Military Archives Oral History Project. His interview is part of a series of interviews recorded to mark forty years of Irish service in Lebanon with UNIFIL. Fawaz is a former translator with UNIFIL, retired in 2011, and he is now working with the Chief Humanitarian Committee in Tibnin. Fawaz speaks about his personal experience working with Irish battalions and other contingents in UNIFIL. He also speaks about Tibnin and he has written a book on the area.
